Pascal (Pa)
Pascal (Pa) is the unit of pressure in the International System of Units (SI). It is defined as one newton per square meter. In space and astronautical engineering, Pascal is commonly used to measure the pressure of gases and liquids in spacecraft and launch vehicles. It is also used to measure the pressure of the ambient environment in space, such as the pressure of the solar wind or the interstellar medium. Pascal is an important unit in the design and testing of spacecraft and launch vehicles, as it helps engineers ensure that the pressure inside and outside the vehicle is within safe limits. In addition, Pascal is used in the calculation of thrust and other performance parameters of rocket engines.
