Molybdenum
Molybdenum is a chemical element with the symbol Mo and atomic number 42. It is a silvery-grey metal that has a high melting point and is commonly used in high-strength steel alloys, as well as in the aerospace industry for its high-temperature and corrosion-resistant properties. Molybdenum is also used as a catalyst in the production of petroleum and in the manufacturing of electronic components. In space and astronautical engineering, molybdenum is used in the construction of spacecraft and satellites due to its ability to withstand extreme temperatures and radiation exposure.
