Loss Of Pressure

Loss of pressure refers to the sudden decrease in the pressure of a spacecraft's cabin or a spacesuit. This can be caused by a variety of factors such as a breach in the hull, a malfunctioning valve, or a puncture in the spacesuit. Loss of pressure can lead to decompression sickness, hypoxia, and ultimately death. In order to prevent loss of pressure, spacecraft and spacesuits are designed with redundant systems and safety measures such as pressure relief valves and emergency oxygen supplies.
