Pressure Relief Valves

Pressure Relief Valves are safety devices designed to protect pressurized systems from overpressure events. They are used in various applications in space and astronautical engineering, such as in rocket engines, fuel tanks, and life support systems. The valve is designed to open and release excess pressure when the system pressure exceeds the set pressure, preventing catastrophic failure of the system. The valve is typically set to open at a pressure slightly below the maximum operating pressure of the system. Pressure Relief Valves are critical components in ensuring the safety and reliability of pressurized systems in space and astronautical engineering.
