Land Use Mapping

Land use mapping is the process of identifying and classifying the different types of land use in a given area. In the context of space and astronautical engineering, land use mapping is often used to analyze and understand the impact of human activities on the environment, as well as to identify potential sites for space-related activities such as rocket launches or satellite installations. Land use mapping can be done using a variety of techniques, including remote sensing, geographic information systems (GIS), and ground surveys. The resulting maps can be used to inform land use planning and management decisions, as well as to monitor changes in land use over time.
