Jet Engines

Jet engines are propulsion systems that generate thrust by expelling a high-velocity jet of gas. In the context of space and astronautical engineering, jet engines are commonly used in aircraft and rockets. Jet engines work on the principle of Newton's third law of motion, which states that for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. The engine takes in air, compresses it, mixes it with fuel, and ignites it to create a high-velocity exhaust gas that propels the aircraft or rocket forward. Jet engines are classified into different types based on their design and application, such as turbojet, turbofan, turboprop, and ramjet. Jet engines have revolutionized air travel and space exploration, enabling faster and more efficient transportation of people and cargo across the globe and beyond.
