Ground Control Systems

Ground Control Systems refer to the infrastructure and equipment used to monitor, communicate with, and control spacecraft and satellites from Earth. These systems are responsible for tracking the spacecraft's position and trajectory, sending commands to adjust its course or perform scientific experiments, and receiving and analyzing data from the spacecraft's sensors and instruments. Ground Control Systems typically include a network of antennas, receivers, and transmitters, as well as specialized software and hardware for data processing and analysis. These systems are critical for ensuring the safety and success of space missions, as they allow operators to monitor the spacecraft's health and performance in real-time and make necessary adjustments to its operations.
