Geometries
Geometries in space and astronautical engineering refer to the mathematical models and calculations used to describe the shape, size, and position of objects in space. This includes the study of the geometry of celestial bodies such as planets, moons, asteroids, and comets, as well as the geometry of spacecraft trajectories and orbits. Geometries are used to determine the optimal path for spacecraft to travel to their destination, as well as to calculate the necessary velocity and direction changes required to achieve the desired trajectory. In addition, geometries are used to design and test spacecraft components and systems, such as solar panels, antennas, and propulsion systems, to ensure they will function properly in the harsh environment of space.
