Environmental Factors

Environmental factors refer to the physical and natural conditions that affect the design, construction, and operation of spacecraft and other astronautical systems. These factors include atmospheric conditions, such as temperature, pressure, and composition, as well as radiation levels, micrometeoroids, and space debris. Environmental factors also encompass the effects of gravity, magnetic fields, and solar activity on spacecraft and their payloads. Engineers and scientists in the field of space and astronautical engineering must take into account these environmental factors when designing and testing spacecraft and other systems for use in space. Failure to properly account for environmental factors can result in mission failure, loss of equipment, and even loss of life.
