Electrical Resistivity

Electrical resistivity is the measure of a material's ability to resist the flow of electric current. In space and astronautical engineering, electrical resistivity is an important property of materials used in spacecraft and satellites. Materials with high electrical resistivity are used as insulators to prevent the flow of electric current, while materials with low electrical resistivity are used as conductors to allow the flow of electric current. Electrical resistivity is also important in the design of electrical systems in spacecraft and satellites, as it affects the efficiency and performance of these systems. The measurement of electrical resistivity is typically done using a four-point probe, which applies a known current to a material and measures the resulting voltage drop.
