Electric Potential Difference

Electric potential difference is the work done per unit charge in moving a test charge between two points in an electric field. It is a measure of the energy required to move a charge from one point to another in an electric field. The unit of electric potential difference is the volt (V), which is defined as one joule per coulomb. Electric potential difference is an important concept in space and astronautical engineering as it is used to describe the behavior of electric fields in space and the movement of charged particles in these fields.
