Converging-Diverging Nozzle

A converging-diverging nozzle is a specially designed tube that is used to accelerate the flow of a fluid to supersonic speeds. It consists of a converging section, where the fluid is compressed and its velocity is increased, followed by a throat, where the cross-sectional area is at its minimum, and a diverging section, where the fluid expands and its velocity decreases. The nozzle is used in rocket engines, jet engines, and other propulsion systems to increase the thrust generated by the engine. The design of the nozzle is critical to the performance of the engine, and it must be carefully optimized to achieve maximum efficiency.
