Consultative Committee For Space Data Systems

The Consultative Committee for Space Data Systems (CCSDS) is an international organization that develops standards and recommendations for space data systems. It was established in 1982 by the major space agencies of the world, including NASA, ESA, and Roscosmos, to provide a forum for discussion and development of common standards for space data systems. CCSDS standards cover a wide range of topics, including data formats, protocols, and interfaces for space missions, as well as data archiving and retrieval. These standards are widely used in the space industry and have contributed to the interoperability and compatibility of space systems. CCSDS also provides a framework for cooperation and collaboration among space agencies and other organizations involved in space activities.
