Command Module

The Command Module is a spacecraft module used in human spaceflight missions. It is the main control center for the spacecraft and houses the crew during launch, orbit, and re-entry. The module contains the cockpit, living quarters, life support systems, and communication equipment. It is designed to separate from the rest of the spacecraft, such as the Service Module and Lunar Module, before re-entry into the Earth's atmosphere.
