CAD

CAD (Computer-Aided Design) is the use of computer software to create, modify, analyze, and optimize designs for a wide range of applications in space and astronautical engineering. CAD software is used to produce 2D and 3D models of spacecraft, rockets, satellites, and other space-related components. It allows engineers to simulate and test designs before they are built, reducing the risk of errors and improving the efficiency of the design process. CAD software can also be used to generate engineering drawings, bill of materials, and other documentation required for manufacturing and assembly. In addition, CAD software can be integrated with other software tools such as finite element analysis (FEA) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) to perform complex simulations and analyses.
