Binary Digits

Binary digits, also known as bits, are the smallest unit of information in computing and digital communications. They are represented by either a 0 or a 1, and are used to encode and transmit data in a digital system. In space and astronautical engineering, binary digits are used extensively in spacecraft communication and control systems, as well as in the design and operation of digital instruments and sensors. The use of binary digits allows for precise and efficient communication and control of spacecraft systems, which is critical for successful space missions.
