Attitude and Orbit Control Systems (AOCS) are subsystems of a spacecraft that are responsible for maintaining the spacecraft's orientation and position in space. AOCS includes sensors, actuators, and algorithms that work together to control the spacecraft's attitude (orientation) and orbit. The sensors provide information about the spacecraft's position, velocity, and orientation, while the actuators use this information to adjust the spacecraft's thrusters, reaction wheels, or other devices to maintain the desired attitude and orbit. AOCS is critical for the success of a mission, as it ensures that the spacecraft is pointed in the right direction and is in the correct orbit to perform its intended tasks.
