Atmosphere Management
Atmosphere management refers to the process of controlling and maintaining the environment within a spacecraft or space station to ensure the health and safety of the crew. This includes regulating temperature, humidity, air quality, and pressure, as well as managing the levels of carbon dioxide, oxygen, and other gases. Atmosphere management systems use a combination of mechanical and chemical processes to filter and purify the air, and to replenish oxygen supplies. Failure to properly manage the atmosphere within a spacecraft or space station can lead to a range of health problems for the crew, including respiratory issues, fatigue, and cognitive impairment.
