Air Traffic Control
Air Traffic Control (ATC) is a system of ground-based controllers who direct aircraft on the ground and in the air. ATC controllers use radar, radio communication, and other technologies to monitor and manage air traffic. ATC also plays a critical role in emergency situations, such as directing aircraft to safe landing spots during engine failures or other malfunctions.
