Water Recovery System
Water Recovery System (WRS) is a system designed to recycle and purify wastewater generated by astronauts during space missions. The system collects and treats urine, sweat, and other wastewater, and converts it into potable water for consumption by the crew. The WRS uses a combination of physical, chemical, and biological processes to remove impurities and contaminants from the wastewater. The purified water is then tested and monitored to ensure it meets the quality standards for human consumption. The WRS is a critical component of the life support system in space, as it reduces the need for resupply missions and conserves water resources.
