Water And Air Recycling

Water and air recycling is the process of treating and reusing wastewater and air inside spacecraft and space stations. This is done to conserve resources and reduce the amount of waste produced in space. Water recycling involves treating wastewater from sources such as urine, sweat, and washing, and purifying it for reuse in drinking, cooking, and hygiene. Air recycling involves removing carbon dioxide, humidity, and other contaminants from the air inside spacecraft and space stations, and replenishing it with oxygen. This is done through a combination of physical and chemical processes, such as adsorption, absorption, and catalytic conversion. Water and air recycling systems are critical for long-duration space missions, where resupply is not possible, and for reducing the cost and environmental impact of space exploration.
