Warheads

In space and astronautical engineering, warheads refer to the explosive devices that are designed to be delivered to a target in space. These devices are typically used in military applications, such as anti-satellite weapons or missile defense systems. Warheads can be delivered by a variety of means, including ballistic missiles, space-based platforms, or ground-based lasers. The design and development of warheads requires a deep understanding of the physics of explosions, as well as the materials and structures that can withstand the extreme conditions of space. Engineers working on warheads must also consider the legal and ethical implications of their work, as the use of such devices can have significant geopolitical consequences.
