Velocity Boost

Velocity boost is a maneuver used in spaceflight to increase the velocity of a spacecraft. It involves firing the spacecraft's engines for a short period of time to add velocity to the spacecraft. Velocity boost can be used to change the trajectory of a spacecraft, to increase the speed of a spacecraft, or to escape the gravitational pull of a celestial body. Velocity boost is often used in interplanetary missions to increase the speed of a spacecraft and reduce the travel time between planets. It is also used in orbital missions to raise the altitude of a spacecraft or to change its orbital inclination.
