Supernova

Supernova is a powerful and luminous explosion that occurs when a star exhausts its fuel and collapses. This explosion releases an enormous amount of energy, which can briefly outshine an entire galaxy. In space and astronautical engineering, supernovae are important because they are responsible for creating and dispersing heavy elements, such as iron, into the universe. These elements are essential for the formation of new stars and planets. Supernovae can also produce neutron stars and black holes, which are important objects for studying gravity and the behavior of matter under extreme conditions.
