Suborbital Rocket


A suborbital rocket is a rocket that follows a ballistic trajectory and reaches space but does not have enough velocity to remain in orbit around the Earth. Suborbital rockets are typically used for scientific research, testing of new technologies, and space tourism. They are designed to provide a few minutes of weightlessness and a view of the Earth from space. Suborbital rockets are usually smaller and less expensive than orbital rockets, and they can be launched from a variety of locations, including land-based launch sites, aircraft, and ships. The maximum altitude reached by a suborbital rocket is typically between 80 and 100 kilometers above the Earth's surface.
