Sequential Circuits
In space and astronautical engineering, sequential circuits refer to digital circuits where the output depends not only on the present input but also on the past history of inputs. These circuits are used in various applications such as data storage, counters, and shift registers. Sequential circuits can be classified into two types: synchronous and asynchronous. Synchronous sequential circuits use a clock signal to synchronize the operation of the circuit, while asynchronous sequential circuits do not rely on a clock signal and instead use feedback to determine the output. Sequential circuits are an important component in the design of spacecraft control systems and communication systems.
