Planetary Landers
Planetary landers are spacecraft designed to land on the surface of a planet or other celestial body. They are equipped with scientific instruments to study the environment and geology of the landing site, as well as to search for signs of life. Planetary landers are typically launched as part of a larger mission, such as a Mars rover mission, and are designed to operate autonomously for a limited period of time. They must be able to withstand the harsh conditions of landing, including high temperatures, high speeds, and rough terrain. Once on the surface, they may use a variety of techniques to collect data, such as drilling into the ground, scooping up samples, or using cameras and other sensors to study the surroundings.
