NESDIS
NESDIS stands for National Environmental Satellite, Data, and Information Service. It is a branch of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) that is responsible for managing and operating a suite of environmental satellites that provide critical data for weather forecasting, climate monitoring, and environmental management. NESDIS also manages and distributes a vast archive of environmental data, including satellite imagery, oceanic and atmospheric data, and climate records.
