Model (noun)

In space and astronautical engineering, a model refers to a physical or virtual representation of a spacecraft, satellite, or other space-related system. Models are used to simulate and test the performance of these systems under various conditions, such as different levels of gravity, atmospheric pressure, and temperature. They can also be used to study the behavior of a system during launch, orbit, and re-entry. Models can be built at different scales, from small-scale models used for testing individual components to full-scale models used for testing the entire system. In addition to physical models, computer models are also commonly used in space and astronautical engineering to simulate the behavior of space systems.
