Missile Defense Systems
Missile Defense Systems refer to a set of technologies and systems designed to detect, track, intercept, and destroy incoming ballistic missiles. These systems are developed to protect a country or a region against missile attacks from other countries or non-state actors. Missile Defense Systems use a variety of sensors, such as radar, infrared, and optical sensors, to detect and track incoming missiles. Once a missile is detected, the system launches an interceptor missile to destroy the incoming missile before it reaches its target. Missile Defense Systems can be ground-based, sea-based, air-based, or space-based. Ground-based systems are typically located near potential targets, while sea-based systems are deployed on ships or submarines. Air-based systems are mounted on aircraft, and space-based systems are placed in orbit around the Earth. Missile Defense Systems are complex and require advanced technologies, including propulsion systems, guidance systems, and sensors.
