Linear Motion Valves

Linear motion valves are types of valves that use a linear motion to open or close the valve. These valves are commonly used in the aerospace industry for controlling the flow of fluids and gases in spacecraft propulsion systems, as well as in ground support equipment. Linear motion valves can be classified into two main categories: gate valves and globe valves. Gate valves are designed to provide a tight seal when closed and are commonly used in applications where a straight-line flow of fluid or gas is required. Globe valves, on the other hand, are designed to regulate the flow of fluid or gas and are commonly used in applications where precise control of flow rate is required. Linear motion valves are critical components in spacecraft propulsion systems, and their reliability and performance are essential for mission success.
