Joint Missions

Joint Missions refer to space missions that are conducted collaboratively by two or more space agencies or countries. These missions involve sharing of resources, expertise, and technology to achieve common goals. Joint missions are often undertaken to reduce costs, share risks, and increase scientific output. They require extensive planning, coordination, and communication between the participating agencies. Joint missions have been successful in achieving major milestones in space exploration, such as the International Space Station (ISS), which is a joint project of NASA, Roscosmos, ESA, JAXA, and CSA. Other examples of joint missions include the Mars Exploration Rovers (MER) mission, a joint project of NASA and JPL, and the Cassini-Huygens mission, a joint project of NASA, ESA, and ASI.
