Java Servlets

Java Servlets are server-side components that provide a powerful mechanism for developing server-side programs. They are Java classes that dynamically process requests and construct responses for web applications. Servlets are used to create dynamic web pages, handle user input, and manage state information that does not exist in the HTML page. They are platform-independent and can be used with any web server that supports the Java Servlet specification. Servlets are commonly used in conjunction with JavaServer Pages (JSPs) to create web applications that are both dynamic and scalable.
