Infrared Technology
Infrared technology refers to the use of electromagnetic radiation with wavelengths longer than those of visible light, but shorter than radio waves, for various applications in space and astronautical engineering. Infrared technology is used for remote sensing, thermal imaging, and communication in space. It is also used for detecting and tracking objects in space, such as asteroids and comets. Infrared technology is used in space telescopes to observe the universe in the infrared spectrum, which allows astronomers to study objects that are too cold or too distant to be observed in visible light. Infrared technology is also used in spacecraft to control temperature and to detect and avoid collisions with other objects in space.
