Hypersonic Vehicles

Hypersonic vehicles are vehicles that travel at speeds greater than Mach 5, which is five times the speed of sound. These vehicles are designed to operate in the upper atmosphere and can potentially provide faster and more efficient transportation for both civilian and military purposes. Hypersonic vehicles can be powered by various means, including scramjet engines, rocket engines, and hybrid engines. Due to the extreme temperatures and pressures experienced during hypersonic flight, materials with high heat resistance and durability are required for the vehicle's structure. Hypersonic vehicles are still in the experimental stage, and research is ongoing to improve their performance and safety.
