Human Errors

Human errors refer to mistakes or failures that occur during the design, development, testing, operation, or maintenance of space systems and vehicles due to human factors such as cognitive limitations, lack of situational awareness, communication breakdowns, and inadequate training or procedures. Human errors can lead to mission failures, accidents, or even loss of life in space. Therefore, space and astronautical engineers need to consider human factors in all aspects of space system design and operation, including crew interfaces, automation, decision-making processes, and safety protocols. They also need to develop effective training programs, procedures, and tools to minimize the risk of human errors and enhance the overall performance and safety of space missions.
