GoMTR

GoMTR stands for Gravity Offload Mechanism Test Rig. It is a device used to simulate microgravity conditions for testing and validating space hardware and experiments. GoMTR consists of a large vacuum chamber where the hardware or experiment is placed and a system of cables and pulleys that counteract the force of gravity, creating a near-zero gravity environment. The device can simulate microgravity conditions for extended periods of time, allowing scientists and engineers to study the behavior of materials, fluids, and biological systems in space-like conditions. GoMTR is an important tool for the development of space technology and exploration, as it enables researchers to test and validate their designs before they are sent to space.
