Geostationary Weather Satellites
Geostationary weather satellites are Earth-orbiting satellites that remain in a fixed position over a specific point on the equator, allowing them to continuously monitor weather patterns and atmospheric conditions in a specific region. These satellites provide real-time data on cloud cover, temperature, precipitation, and other meteorological variables, which is used to generate weather forecasts and track severe weather events.
