Collision Risks

Collision risks refer to the probability of collision between two or more objects in space, such as satellites, debris, or other spacecraft. These risks are influenced by a variety of factors, including the number of objects in orbit, their trajectories, and their relative velocities. Collision risks are a significant concern for space and astronautical engineers, as collisions can cause damage to spacecraft and create additional debris that can further increase collision risks. To mitigate collision risks, engineers use a variety of techniques, such as tracking and monitoring objects in orbit, predicting potential collisions, and maneuvering spacecraft to avoid collisions.
