Civil Aviation
Civil Aviation refers to all non-military aviation activities, both private and commercial. In the context of aerospace engineering, it involves the design, development, production, and maintenance of aircraft used for these activities. Civil aviation is divided into two major categories: scheduled air transport, including all passenger and cargo flights operating on regularly scheduled routes; and general aviation, which includes all other civil flights, private or commercial. Aerospace engineers in civil aviation work on a variety of tasks, such as designing new types of aircraft, improving the efficiency of existing aircraft, ensuring the safety of aircraft operations, and developing and implementing regulations and standards for aircraft design and maintenance. They also work on the development of infrastructure for civil aviation, such as airports and air traffic control systems. The goal of aerospace engineering in civil aviation is to ensure the safe, efficient, and environmentally friendly operation of civil aircraft.
