Ceramic Fibers

Ceramic fibers are a type of advanced ceramic material that are typically made from alumina, silica, or other metal oxides. They are known for their high strength, high temperature resistance, and excellent thermal and chemical stability. Ceramic fibers are commonly used in the aerospace industry for thermal insulation, as well as in the production of composite materials for aircraft and spacecraft structures. They are also used in the nuclear industry for insulation and radiation shielding, and in the automotive industry for catalytic converters and exhaust systems. Ceramic fibers can be produced in a variety of forms, including woven fabrics, mats, papers, and bulk fibers.
