Aerobic Composting

Aerobic composting is a method of organic waste management that involves the use of microorganisms that require oxygen to break down organic matter into compost. This process is carried out in the presence of air and requires regular turning or mixing of the compost pile to ensure adequate oxygen supply. The microorganisms responsible for the composting process are naturally occurring bacteria and fungi that consume organic matter and produce heat, carbon dioxide, and water as byproducts. Aerobic composting is a sustainable and environmentally friendly method of waste management that can be used to reduce the amount of organic waste sent to landfills and to produce nutrient-rich compost that can be used as a soil amendment.
