Thermal Management System
Thermal Management System (TMS) is a subsystem of a spacecraft that manages the temperature of the spacecraft and its components. The TMS is responsible for maintaining the temperature within acceptable limits for the proper functioning of the spacecraft. It includes various components such as radiators, heat exchangers, pumps, and temperature sensors. The TMS works by transferring heat from the spacecraft to the external environment or from one component to another. The TMS is critical for the success of a spacecraft mission as extreme temperatures can cause damage to the spacecraft and its components.
