Sub-orbital Flight

Sub-orbital flight refers to a spaceflight in which the spacecraft reaches space, but does not complete a full orbit around the Earth. Instead, the spacecraft follows a ballistic trajectory and returns to the Earth's surface. Sub-orbital flights are typically shorter and less expensive than orbital flights, and are often used for scientific research, testing of new technologies, and space tourism.
