Quality Assurance

Quality Assurance (QA) is a systematic process of ensuring that a product or service meets the specified requirements and standards. In the context of space and astronautical engineering, QA involves the development and implementation of processes and procedures to ensure that space systems, components, and software are designed, manufactured, tested, and operated in a manner that meets the highest standards of safety, reliability, and performance. QA activities include quality planning, quality control, quality assessment, and quality improvement. These activities are carried out throughout the entire lifecycle of a space system, from the initial concept and design phase to the final disposal phase. QA is essential for ensuring the success of space missions and for protecting human life and property in space and on Earth.
