Launch Pads
Launch pads are specialized structures designed to support the launch of rockets and spacecraft. They provide a stable platform for the launch vehicle during the countdown and liftoff, and also serve as a conduit for fuel, electrical power, and communications. Launch pads are typically located near the equator to take advantage of the Earth's rotation for an extra boost in velocity. They are also designed to withstand the extreme heat, pressure, and vibrations generated during launch. Launch pads can be used for a variety of missions, including satellite launches, crewed missions, and interplanetary exploration.
