International System Of Units

The International System of Units (SI) is the modern form of the metric system and is the world's most widely used measuring system. It is based on seven fundamental units: the metre (length), kilogram (mass), second (time), ampere (electric current), kelvin (temperature), mole (amount of substance), and candela (luminous intensity). The SI also includes a number of derived units, such as the newton (force), joule (energy), and watt (power). The system is used in many fields, including space and astronautical engineering, where precise measurements are crucial for the success of missions. The use of the SI ensures that measurements are consistent and accurate, allowing for easy communication and collaboration between scientists and engineers around the world.
