Infrared Imaging
Infrared imaging is the process of capturing and analyzing the infrared radiation emitted by objects in order to create images. Infrared radiation is a type of electromagnetic radiation that has longer wavelengths than visible light, and is not visible to the human eye. Infrared imaging is used in space and astronautical engineering to detect and analyze heat signatures of objects, such as planets, stars, and spacecraft. Infrared imaging is also used to detect and analyze the temperature of various components of spacecraft, such as engines and solar panels, in order to ensure they are functioning properly and to identify potential issues before they become critical.
