High-velocity Exhaust Stream
High-velocity exhaust stream refers to the flow of gases expelled from a rocket engine at a high speed. The velocity of the exhaust stream is a critical factor in determining the thrust produced by the engine. The higher the velocity of the exhaust stream, the greater the thrust generated by the engine. The velocity of the exhaust stream is determined by the temperature and pressure of the gases inside the engine, as well as the design of the nozzle. In order to achieve high velocities, rocket engines use a variety of techniques, including the use of high-energy propellants, the expansion of gases through a converging-diverging nozzle, and the use of turbopumps to increase the pressure of the propellants before they enter the engine.
