Hamming Codes
Hamming codes are a family of linear error-correcting codes used for transmitting digital data over noisy channels. They are capable of detecting and correcting single-bit errors, and detecting but not correcting multiple-bit errors. The codes are named after their inventor, Richard Hamming, and are widely used in computer memory systems, satellite communication, and other applications where data integrity is critical.
